Washing your hair seems like it would have no chance of damaging your hair,
but the opposite can be the case.
The urge to scrub hair vigorously when washing can cause unnecessary
tangling and damage to your hair. Treat your hair gently, keep it down instead
of scrunching it all up on the top of your head and massage the shampoo into
your hair.
Condition hair according to your hair type. If you are after extra volume apply
conditioner only to the bottom half of your hair and not the roots. If you want
extra shine, then add the conditioner through the entire hair shaft.
Dry your hair with care. Avoid wrapping hair tightly up in a towel or drying it
vigorously, instead gently pat dry with an absorbent towel. Never brush wet hair,
the best way to comb your hair after the shower is with a wide toothed comb.
