Styling with heat cannot be avoided, but the damage done can be minimized.
Set your heat appliances on a low heat setting when styling. Too much heat
can remove the hair cuticle and leave dull porous hair strands. Never use ceramic
appliances on wet hair.

Backcombing makes your hair voluminous but upon closer inspection is actually
doing serious damage to your hair by peeling off the hair’s protective cuticle
layers.

Instead of backcombing, use the Mirage Volume Body Treatment System.
You can achieve natural volume if hair is styled by lifting at the roots with a
round brush. The damage done by backcombing can be a thing of the past.
